Vik joins the Nebraska Rural Radio Association as Director of National Retail and Digital Sales



The Nebraska Rural Radio Association has announced that Jennifer Vik will join the association as Director of National Retail and Digital Sales. This is a new role within the company and will be effective March 14th.

Vik has worked in the broadcast sales industry for over 20 years, most recently serving as National Sales Manager for NRG Media from 2008 to 2021. She was responsible for overseeing national retail, agriculture and business policies for seven markets in Nebraska, Wisconsin and Iowa. She managed to increase her income year after year by facilitating hundreds of accounts with Katz Radio Group.

“I’m so excited to be part of this amazing company,” said Vik. “This represents an incredible opportunity to increase revenue and contribute to all the great work that is already being done within the Association. I am honored to represent the NRRA and to work with Katz Radio Group and their truly wonderful team.

Vik has managed the affairs of over 30 stations, including the 2012, 2016 and 2020 elections. senior account manager for IHeart Media in Omaha from 2000 to 2004.

Nebraska Rural Radio Association executive director Tim Marshall said he was thrilled to have Vik join the team.

“The goal of this new role is to showcase the strength of NRRA stations and the rural radio network,” Marshall said. “Jennifer is highly respected in our industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to our company and to this position.”
