Tony’s 10m Group Report | Southgate Amateur Radio News

Sunday was a good day for radio and 10m for me. I have worked several US, ZS and PY stations even an SM station called me at 90 ° to my Moxon beam.

J5T (Guinea-Bissau), 3DA0RU, (+ WW) (Eswatini), 7P8RU (Lesotho) along with many other DXs in the list were really wanted.

7P8RU is a Russian DX team and I am in their log on Ten Meters!

David KO1C sent me this little note. “Tony, just a quick word of thanks to you for promoting this awesome ham band!” Thank you for continuing your excellent work. “ I don’t know the great job but the thought is much appreciated David. Hopefully the upward curve in activity continues to rise.

Sun: 4 Sunspots and Growing Sunspot The AR2887 has a “beta-gamma” magnetic field that harbors energy for Class M solar flares. (Credit: SDO / IHM)

SOMETHING TO FLARE-Y THIS PATH IS COMING: Suddenly, the northeast branch of the sun is bursting with activity. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded a frenzied 5-hour streak in the early hours of October 26. At least half a dozen explosions occurred during this brief film. The site of the explosion is hidden just behind the edge of the sun. It is almost certainly an unstable sunspot. The sun’s rotation will highlight it over the next 24 to 48 hours, creating a geo-efficient source of solar activity. Click here to see. (Credit spaceweather.com)

Stoke lost to Millwall 2 – 1. A very poor defense. We have now lost 3 in a row and are sliding down the table. We also recorded injuries. Brentford Wednesday in the EFL Cup (Carabao) followed by Cardiff on Saturday. I will be there.
