The Red Cross Children’s Hospital has its own radio station, run entirely by young people.
Children and young adults speak live on “Radio RXwhich broadcasts throughout the hospital to lift the spirits of every sick child, every concerned parent and every enthusiastic doctor.
RX Radio’s vision is to be a “place of comfort, well-being and living experience”.
It is a radio by and for children.
RX Radio, as beautiful as it is, could soon be silent.
Many of its long-time donors pulled out in the wake of the pandemic, and the situation is dire.
RX Radio needs saviors before the end of the month when it will close.
