The Golden State Warriors host the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of their best-of-seven Western Conference playoff series on Monday night.
The Golden State Warriors are looking to take a 2-0 series lead in their best-of-seven against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.
Golden State emerged victorious on Saturday night with a convincing 123-107 win over Denver. The Warriors were carried offensively by guard Jordan Poole and his best 30 points. It was his first playoff game in a Golden State uniform. While Denver will certainly make a series out of it, Michael Malone’s team will have to make some adjustments to not get blasted out of the building.
As this is the Warriors’ first trip to the Western Conference Playoffs since 2019, this team feels a bit rejuvenated. It’s been three long years for this team, but they’re back in their place. As for Denver, the Nuggets are at the peak of their competitive life cycle. What remains to be seen is the ceiling of this current core built around world center Nikola Jokic.
The whistleblowing from the Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif., will take place at 10:00 p.m. ET, 7:00 p.m. PT on Monday, April 18.
