North West Radio Station to Host 5K | Characteristics


MARYVILLE, Mo. – Supporters and fans of Northwest Missouri State University’s national public radio affiliate, KXCV-KRNW, are invited to participate in the station’s third annual 5KXCV-KRNW Virtual Race anytime Saturday, April 9. to Saturday, April 23.

To participate, individuals must register for the event, time their times, and send a selfie and photo of their results to or post the images on KXCV-KRNW’s Facebook page, a press release said.

At the end of the event, the best will receive medals and prizes such as gift certificates for Hy-Vee and A&G Restaurant.

All entrants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win other prizes provided by the sponsors.

Customers must register by April 8 to receive a pre-event t-shirt. However, registration will remain open until the last day of the 5K on April 23, a press release says.

All proceeds support programming on KXCV-KRNW.
