YouthNet organizes a one-day training

Dimapur, September 2 (MExN): 90.8 Hills FM “one of the first” community radio stations in the state will launch on September 8. Imali Hesso, Managing Director of the radio station, mentioned in an update that YouthNet organized a one-day training for 90.8 Hills FM staff at Hotel Senti in Dimapur on September 2.

“Being an up-and-coming company, management saw this as the perfect time to improve the working culture of its employees,” Hesso said, adding that the training was a much-needed program for team-building purposes, which will benefit everyone in the business.

Tsepila Zhimomi, Training and Talent Management Manager, YouthNet, speaking about the training, informed that the program is specifically designed for professionalism in the workplace. Zhimomi explained how each member plays a very important role in any organization and business, and how each should complement each other.

Razouvikhol Luho, Business Development and Corporate Communications Manager, YouthNet, spoke about developing professional skills in the workplace. Luho maintained that each individual and staff member are leaders in their own capacity and that everyone is a leader, regardless of job designation. He emphasized proper communication skills and how each individual has a lot of potential tapped within.

The session was divided into two segments where improving professional skills, communication skills, leadership skills and the importance of teamwork were taught, in addition to team building activities.

Yogen Chettri, a radio jockey, remarked that the training was very “concise” and very well “organized”, with very competent and experienced instructors. Senti, a content writer, shared that the program was very informative and engaging, and well worth it.
