Luke Combs Switches Radio Stations If His Song Plays: ‘It’s Just Weird’

During an interview on the Bobby Bones Show, Combs explained why he prefers skipping his own songs.

Combs said, “It’s just weird listening to yourself.” The singer also said that when a song was released and on the radio, he heard it so many times. Therefore, he no longer wants to listen. Combs thinks he would “definitely” not hear anything new about the song, such as the mixing of the music, because he’s already heard it thousands of times in the studio.

How Combs rose to fame

A native of Ashville, North Carolina, Combs has always had a passion for performing, from singing with several vocal groups in high school to performing as a solo performer at Carnegie Hall.
