Icom AH-730 automatic antenna tuner, new!

The AH-730 is a new externally mounted automatic antenna tuner from Icom.

The AH-730 covers a wide frequency range from 1.8 to 50 MHz, giving amateur radio operators the ability to work across multiple frequency bands.

With a wired element of 7 m (23 ft) or more, all band adaptations are possible from the 1.8 MHz band (160 m) to the 50 MHz band (6 m) (a ground connection is required. )

The AH-730 emits only 0.3W of RF output from the antenna during the tuning operation. The low power minimizes the risk of interference with other stations while matching the antenna.

The body of the AH-730 is made of high-strength IPX4 waterproof resin. It can be safely installed in a variety of outdoor locations. In addition, coaxial and control cables can be connected without opening the case.

In addition, high-speed auto-tuning in about 2-3 seconds is possible. Up to forty-five matching states can be stored, and when the same frequency is retuned, matching can be completed in about one second.

The AH-730 Automatic Antenna Tuner is now available to order from authorized amateur radio dealer Icom at a suggested retail price of £570.00 including VAT.

The AH-730 is compatible with the Icom IC-718, IC-7100, IC-7300 and IC-7610 transceivers.
