"Annual RaRa Family Picnic”

July 17th, 2010 11AM - 'till - Creekside Lodge - Ellison Park

This annual outing is provided free to current members of RaRa and their families.
- Just one more benefit of membership!

Come eat drink and be merry with your friends and family - the food and drink are provided by the club, so come hungry.

New this year: We will be serving: Big-Fat Zweigles hots, Hamburgers, Italian Sausage, BBQ Chicken breast, Salt Potatoes, Peppers & Onions, Baked Beans, and Tossed Salad. Of course there will be plenty to drink and snacks to munch on while our chefs are cooking.

Bring your 2 meter HT, in fact if you have spares bring them to share. We will have a lesson in fox hunting followed by a fully fledged fox hunt with prizes to the winners.

We’ll have plenty of music and requests are welcome. Dancing is… um… optional!

With such an expansive menu, we want to have enough food without being wasteful so it is very important that you RSVP. Remember it’s FREE; all we ask you to do is tell us how many people will be attending.

"3rd Annual RaRa Cruise Night”

Friday August 6th, 2010 Bill Grays - Henrietta NY

Meet us at Bill Grays (http://billgrays.com/location_henrietta.asp) look for all the antennas in the parking lot at 6pm –that will be us. Bring your hottest ride, or your most geeked out Hamsexy vehicle. If you don’t know what that is look here: (http://www.hamsexy.com/cms/?cat=7). If you don’t have a hot ride, or a nerd-mobile you want to own up to, come join us for some fun and old fashioned Drive-In food. Prizes will be awarded to the hottest ride and the nerdiest.

September through May our meetings are held on the first Friday at Henrietta Fire Station No. 1, 3129 East Henrietta Road. Summer gatherings include our Rochester Hamfest, family picnic, and "cruise night"; our annual car show and tailgate party.
Unless otherwise noted, meetings and programs of the Rochester Amateur Radio Assn. are open to the public. We encourage everyone to attend, members and non-members alike!

The coffee is hot, the soda is cold, and the donuts are always fresh... So come visit!
