There will be a 2008 hamfest at the Monroe County Fairgrounds Dome Center. The facility is officially renamed the "Fair & Expo Center." Renovations and upgrades are in progress.

For those who attended the 2007 Rochester Hamfest, the organizing committee thanks you for your continued support. A multi phase renovation and upgrading is occurring at the site of the hamfest, the Monroe County Fairgrounds, now renamed the Fair & Expo Center. We are pleased to report the flea market parking area is now newly resurfaced. Watch this web site regularly for new information which is posted as it becomes available.

ONLY AT ROCHESTER -- F R E E ON SITE PARKING
Rochester is one of a very few major shows providing free on-site parking for guests and exhibitors. The main parking area is newly paved, lined and lighted.
Additionally, a close in, on-site handicap free parking area is in place.

H A M F E S T H O T S P O T
Bring your laptop computer with you. Wi-Fi service is available at the Rochester Hamfest. This will enable you to work the internet from your laptop while you are at the show.

OTHER HOBBY GROUPS

Hobby groups and merchants are invited to participate in our annual event. A sampling of the hobbies to be represented are: Flying, Boating, Model Trains, Model Cars, Woodworking, Photography. Vendors will display their wares. Clubs will be represented.

Photographers: Send copies of your hamfest digital photos to rochfst@frontiernet.net.
Photo pages have been created for all to enjoy. If your photo files are huge, burn your photo files to a cd. Mail to Rochester Hamfest, 300 White Spruce Blvd., Rochester, NY 14623. A special album with your photos will be created. Furnish photo captions if possible.
